Getting started
How do I install Cattly?
Cattly launches soon on the App Store and Google Play, and also runs in your web browser. Join the waitlist on our home page and we'll tell you the moment it's live.
Which languages does it support?
The entire app is available in Hindi, Punjabi and English. You can switch language any time from the top of the app.
Does it cost anything?
No. Browsing, posting listings and talking to sellers by voice is completely free.
Buying safely
How do I find animals near me?
Set your location (or allow GPS) and the feed shows healthy animals sorted by distance, district or state.
How do I contact a seller?
Open a listing and tap “Talk by voice” to start a voice conversation — no phone numbers are exchanged.
Should I pay before seeing the animal?
Never. Always inspect the animal in person and confirm ownership before paying. Cattly does not handle payments.
Selling on Cattly
How do I post a listing?
Tap the “+” to sell, add clear photos of your actual animal, set the price, breed and details, and publish.
Why isn't my listing getting replies?
Add sharp photos, an honest price and milk-yield details, and consider verifying your account for a trust badge and higher ranking.
Can I edit or remove a listing?
Yes — open your listing from “My listings” to update or delete it any time.
Voice chat
Is my phone number shared?
No. All conversations happen through in-app voice messages, so your personal number stays private.
Why is there a limit before the seller replies?
To stop spam, a new buyer's intro is capped until the seller accepts the chat, and there's a daily limit on new conversations.
Can I delete a conversation?
Yes. Deleting a chat removes it from your side; a fresh contact later starts clean.
Seller verification
Verification is optional and free. You upload your identity document once; our team reviews it manually and adds a verified badge to your profile and listings, which can improve your ranking. We never display your Aadhaar number, and your documents are stored privately for audit only. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Staying safe from scams
- Never pay in advance. Inspect the animal in person and confirm ownership before any payment.
- Be wary of deals that seem too good. Unusually low prices and urgency are classic scam signals.
- Keep chats in the app. Don't move to other apps or share OTPs, bank details or UPI PINs.
- Meet in a safe, public place and, where possible, bring someone with you.
- Report anything suspicious using the in-app report button so we can act quickly.
Account & privacy
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion from the app, or email support@cattly.in from your registered contact. We delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.
How do I change my language or location?
Both are adjustable any time from the top of the app — no need to reinstall.
What are my data rights?
You can access, correct, or erase your data and withdraw consent. See Privacy Policy §9 for how to exercise each right.
Report a problem or a user
Open the listing or conversation, tap the menu, and choose Report. Tell us what's wrong (spam, abuse, fraud, wrong content). Our team reviews reports and can remove content, warn, restrict or remove users. For urgent safety concerns, email support@cattly.in with the details and any screenshots.
